I went with the Marketers on an expedition to the Newport, KY Target store because it would be set earlier than the ones near us in Kettering. The store was only 2 weeks old and quite sparkly!
We turned into our DHO aisle to find a sea of blah. The backdrops where white, the signage was woodgrain, and the shelving put the product on a different (and higher!) angle than we expected.
2011 OrganizeHer line...not fully set. All the pink items are missing from the first shelf.
The 2011 Mead Planning & Organizing set...note the image in the merch sign. The planners you see right below it were shelved higher than eye level for me, and I am 5 foot 6. Hmmph.

And 4 feet away from it on the same side of the aisle, Room Essentials. The products are eerily similar.

Noted from a trend perspective:
two great examples of endcaps that use various patterns but look cohesive.
BLUE looked really fresh.
